About Us

Empowerment Through Sport is a for-profit organization providing educational and motivational conferences, workshops, and speaking engagements for girls, their parents, and their coaches.

After retiring from professional soccer, the realization of how sports brought tremendous opportunity and personal development was clear.   Not everyone, however, will become a professional athlete or compete in the Olympics, but the lessons and skills learned through sports are there no matter what skill level you are. The Empowerment Through Sport Leadership Series provides an equal opportunity for young adults and parents to share and hear the experiences of successful professionals and athletes and how many benefits of competing in sports filters into all aspects of life.

In a one-day interactive summit, we come together to evaluate what we learn from sports that lend to accomplishing goals and dreams, maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and fine tuning the leadership skills that promote positive change in our communities. This is an educational and fun event to ask questions, listen, seek advice from the pro’s and then leave the day ready and armed to take action in your own personal life both on and off the field.

• Foster discussion and interaction between youth, parents and professionals on specific topics of leadership, sports and nutrition

• Motivate youth to take lessons learned from the conference and apply them in their daily lives to be examples to others

• Encourage parents to support their daughters in positive ways both on and off the field as it applies to education, nutrition and sports

Our Results

Empowerment Through Sport will provide a fun, educational experience for young adults, their parents and their coaches to discuss important topics that lend to goal setting, healthy choices and leadership within their communities.
